Unleashed design
"Ferocious" design: New front cowl design is a key element of the Z800’s more aggressive styling, giving it a fiercer glaring appearance. Shrouds and under-cowl appear to grip the engine. The image is like a snarling beast holding prey in its mouth.

Modern instrumentation
New instrument panel design complements the bike’s advanced design and features multi-function LCD screens and a level-meter-style tachometer.

Optional ABS
ABS Models feature a compact and lightweight Nissin motorcycle ABS unit. The unit is located under the rider's seat, contributing to increased room for storage under the passenger seat.

Sharp belly pan
The under-cowl adds to the Z800’s street-fighter image and along with the engine shrouds contributes to the aggressive, visceral design.

Enhanced braking performance
New opposed, 4-piston calipers gripping larger-diameter 310 mm petal discs deliver formidable stopping power with superb control and feel.

 

Highly communicative chassis
The Z800's friendly character makes it an accomodating mount even for beginners. Increased road holding performance, on all types of road surfaces enables both sporty and friendly riding characteristics.

Aggressive cowl
Compact headlamp cowl uses a multi-facet design to create a more aggressive, glaring visage for the bike. The fierce appearence is one of the key styling elements of the aggressive new design.

806cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-line Four
With its larger displacement, the engine offers increased performance at all RPM. the greater performance is especially noticeable in the low-mid range, adding o greater everyday usability as well as increased riding exhilaration.

Buffed header pipes
Elegant curves of the exhaust header pipes and a buffed finish complement the bikes fierce street-fighter styling. Whilst also highlighting the quality of finish and attention to detail.

41 mm inverted fork
41mm KYB Inverted fork contributes to the quick, nimble handling, excellent road-holding ability and superb feedback. Optimized for the increased engine and revised frame rigidity the front fork is adjustable for rebound damping and preload.

Shorter final gearing
Smooth-shifting 6-speed transmission has a gear for every situation, from low-speed city traffic to high-speed highway use. A larger rear sprocket (43T>>45T) emphasises the already more powerful acceleration.

Full digital instrumentation
The Z800's futuristic looking instrument panel features a triple LCD screen which includes a level-meter-style tachometer, fuel gauge, remaining range and the Economical Riding Indicator.
LED taillight
New taillight design features a “Z” pattern – a nice touch that complements the slim tail section of this latest Z-model.
Piggyback-reservoir-rear shock
The rear shock features an aluminum body with a piggyback reservoir for ncreased cooling performance. KYB rear shock is repositioned 20mm to the left side for better left-right balance.
